How we replace brakes properly
A proper brake job is more than slapping pads in. We measure the existing discs with a micrometer, check runout on the hub face, clean the slide pins, copper grease the right places (and not the wrong ones), replace anti-rattle clips on cars that need them, bed the new pads in on a quiet bit of road, and re-balance the system through a diagnostic bed-in cycle on cars that demand it. Audi A6, F30 3 Series, plenty of others. Skip any of that and the customer is back in a week with a juddering pedal.
