Engine cover off, intake stripped, sump down. We inspect the existing belt and the oil pickup strainer for shed rubber. If the engine is already showing signs of belt breakdown we are honest and tell you straight, before you spend the money.
On a clean job we fit the full Ford-spec kit: new wet belt, new oil pump, new tensioner, new idler, new pickup pipe, new sump gasket, new front crank seal and a full Ford-spec 5W-30 oil and OE filter. Reassemble, set timing, run up, leak check, road test around Slough. The car goes home with another 100,000 miles of safe running.
