How a suspension fail repair runs
Car goes on the four-post ramp and we shake every joint manually before we touch a spanner. Wishbones, drop links, anti-roll bar bushes, track rod ends, top mounts, springs, shock bodies. We compare findings to the VT30 fail item and quote you the actual job. If we find extra worn parts we tell you and let you choose - urgent now versus next service.
Most single corner suspension jobs are done in two to four hours. Springs and shocks are replaced as axle pairs by law. Once the work is finished the car goes on our four-wheel alignment rig because any suspension change knocks geometry out, and a car that pulls or wears tyres unevenly is a fail in its own right.
